Programme profile


This programme is designed to meet the demand for engineers that will power Europe’s future economy through the use of smart technologies. The programme has been developed in partnership with industrial employers, to meet the demand for engineering graduates with strong skills in software and hardware engineering, along with corresponding design and analysis abilities. This programme will build upon and further grow the reputation of the many UL graduates in the Electronic and Computer Engineering discipline who have achieved high-ranking positions in industry as well as founding and developing their own companies

Programme content


This programme provides great flexibility for students where at the end of their second year, they can choose their specialist area of study for years three and four of the programme. Students can choose one of the following technology areas for study: Computer Engineering; Electronic Engineering; Robotics Engineering, and Electrical Energy Engineering. Alternatively students can choose a General option, where they can select modules from the other defined degree options.

The university offers an MEng in Computer Engineering

Entry Requirements


Students must present six subjects of which two must be at grade C or above at Advanced GCE (A-Level. The other subjects must be at least at grade C or above on GCSE or Advanced Subsidiary GCE (AS) papers. The six subjects must include: English, Mathematics and  a language other than English. A-Level Maths [Grade C or above] is required.
